Before we jump into packing, we like to start with an in home move consultation. On of our lead organizers/packers come to your home and ask questions, look at your space and belongings, estimate the packing supplies (and cost) that will be required, and give you an idea of how long it would take our team to pack your home. When our team of packers arrive, we can bring the supplies with us and get right to work.
Before the actual packing can begin, we often start with clients by editing or decluttering. This key step will save you time, money, and energy in the long run by avoiding packing & moving unnecessary belongings. This essential step removes a layer of items that were not serving you in your current season. Imagine settling into your new home with exactly what you need, nothing more and nothing less.
Our team has been involved in countless moves (ranging from college dorms to apartments, family homes, multi-property estates, and senior living facilities). We can work with you to build out a timeline to minimize disruption to your day to day life while ensuring that your home and it’s contents are ready to go when move day arrives. We have had the privilege of working alongside many local (and national) moving companies as well.
Some clients prefer to do the prep, planning, and packing on their own. And then utilize our team to help set up their new home in a way that optimizes organization and function in their new space.

As we pack, we are doing so much more than simply wrapping a fragile glass in packing paper. We are thoughtfully handling items with care, grouping similar things to pack together, keeping the weight of the box at an appropriate level, and making sure there is adequate (without being wasteful) cushion and labeling in a way that makes things clear and straightforward for you (and whoever else may be helping unpack).
